The Problem We Saw

Across the world, millions of people are trapped in poverty — not because they lack talent or drive, but because they lack opportunity. They have the skills. They have the determination. What they don't have is a door to walk through.

Education is the first step, but it's not the last. A certificate alone doesn't put food on the table. A degree doesn't pay the rent. What changes everything is a job — a real job, with a real future, that pays a living wage and breaks the cycle of poverty for an entire family.

How AvenFort Began

AvenFort was born from a simple idea: what if a business could do more than generate profit? What if it could also generate hope?

We partnered with BYU Pathways Worldwide — a program that provides affordable, accessible higher education to students around the globe. Many of these students are first-generation learners, working adults, and parents who are fighting to build a better life for their families.

They graduate with skills, with confidence, and with dreams. But too often, they graduate without a job waiting for them. That's where AvenFort comes in.

Our Mission

For every person who graduates from BYU Pathways, we want there to be a job. A real job. A job that uses their new skills, pays a fair wage, and gives them a path forward.

AvenFort hires BYU Pathways graduates and gives them meaningful work — building software, generating leads, and helping other businesses grow. In doing so, we create a powerful cycle: our employees lift their families out of poverty, and the work they do helps other businesses succeed and create even more jobs.

How It Works

Education

Students enroll in BYU Pathways Worldwide and gain valuable skills in technology, business, and communication — often as the first in their family to pursue higher education.

Graduation

They graduate with a certificate or degree, ready to enter the workforce. But for many, the job search is the hardest part — especially in communities with limited opportunity.

Employment

AvenFort hires them. We provide training, mentorship, and real client work in software development and lead generation — giving them a career, not just a paycheck.

Transformation

With a steady income, graduates support their families, invest in their communities, and break the cycle of poverty. Their children grow up in a home where education and opportunity are the norm.
